GD in Givenchy

So my guess would be tHat everyone is still in the process of obsessing over Blue. I personally love the song and the somber and melancholic tone just suit Big Bang’s new mini album perfectly. 

Although I did notice in the music video that G Dragon was flashing his Givenchy hoodies everywhere. 

I should state that this is not a runway look; it’s a commercial supplemental piece. In my opinion, the hoodies work quite nicely with the video: they shot in Brooklyn, the whole wardrobe was street style so this hoodies fits in perfectly. I love how GD or his stylist paired it with a denim jacket; it adds a touch of street essence to not-so-street print. The print is rather risqué in a sense that it is showing a nude woman in the center but it’s done in a way that look kinda like Renaissance art inspired. Ricardo Tisci did a lot of these type of prints with his Givenchy collection and I love how he does it in so many different ways. 

Overall, it’s a decent look that goes together with the song and video nicely. Although it’s not much of a fashion statement, it kinda foreshadows what future outfits GD will wear next. Should I be expecting more Givenchy?
